Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), also called benign prostatic hypertrophy or enlarged prostate, is a disease that affects men and causes an abnormal enlargement of the prostate, which affects the urinary and reproductive systems. There are several different ways to approach BPH treatment, such as surgery, minimally invasive procedures and medications. With that said, while using medication to treat BPH, there are some side effects which may occur during treatment.
