The video explains that there are three things that can go wrong with the prostate: a man can get benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) where the prostate enlarges and squeezes the urethra causing problems with urination, prostatitis where the prostate becomes infected and inflamed and finally, prostate cancer.
BPH typically affects men aged 50 and older and the older a man gets, the more likely he is to develop the condition. There are various ways to treat BPH including medications, surgery, and watchful waiting.
