7. Recurring problems 

Surgery isn’t a guarantee that men will not face further problems with their prostate, including recurring BPH, as the prostate will still continue to grow unless completely removed. Approximately 10 percent of men who have TURP or TUIP surgery for BPH will need a repeat procedure within five years.
